🍽️ The Food: Flavor Forward
The star of the evening was undoubtedly the Hot & Honey Wings—perfectly cooked with a crispy finish and just the right balance of sweet heat. Though delicious, we found ourselves wanting a bit more blue cheese on the side to cool things down.
The clams were a hit—fresh, tender, and full of flavor. The lobster bisque followed suit, offering a rich, creamy bowl of comfort that was both satisfying and generously portioned.
On the downside, the cheesesteak was fairly average. It didn’t wow us, and the fries that came with it were overcooked and overly crisp. We also waited about seven minutes for the cheesesteak to make it from the hot plate to our table—something to note for those dining during busy hours.
🍸 The Drinks & Service:
The cocktails and drinks hit the mark and helped keep the vibe fun and relaxed. The waitstaff was attentive and friendly, even with the restaurant at full capacity.
🎶 The One Downside: The Volume
The biggest issue of the night? The ambiance. While the space has a lively pub feel, the noise level was overwhelming. At times, we could barely hear each other speak, which took away from what could have been a more enjoyable, relaxed evening.

5 West Pub is a great spot for good eats and drinks, especially if you’re with a group looking for bold flavors and upbeat energy. Just don’t expect a quiet dinner. Bring your appetite—and maybe some earplugs.
